The workshop brief involved the design of an editorial artifact that would tell ten answers to a question, in our case: what was your biggest fear when you were a child?
The project involved the collection of the answers, the creation of ten illustrations, one for each fear, and the development of a booklet that would narrate what was collected. The illustrations I took care of are characterized by the mixture of photography and drawing. The composition has been created alternating a sustained paper for the verbal stories and a very light paper for the illustrations, a metaphor of the fact that what remains of the fears is only the story, while what one has experienced becomes volatile.
